Dawn Miskulin ~ Manager and Team Lead, Joined 2016
Dawn joined the SLT team after seeing about the business on Facebook. After her mother passed away, Dawn left a career as an Account Executive in footwear sales to focus on her daughters. Dawn worked at Nordstrom as the footwear manager and is exceptional at customer service keeping clients calm while handling all the logistics of their move. She has a passion for helping others and builds great relationships with her clients. As a single mom with two daughters still home, much of Dawn’s spare time is spent in the car – carpooling to and from school and driving to soccer practice and tournaments. She also enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling, music, Mexican food and going all out decorating her home for holidays.
Amanda Gareis ~ Lead Designer and Team Lead, Joined 2019
Amanda joined the SLT after meeting Jami at Second Saturday, a workshop for women who are going through divorce. Amanda was re-entering the work force after 14 years as a stay at home mom. Amanda has experience in retail, sales, Interior Design, event planning for festivals and music/art events. Prior to having children she graduated from Delaware College of Art & Design, Road tripped around the states and traveled around the world for a year. Her artistic eye has been invaluable for work with clients who need help reimaging spaces, wanting design assistance or have a great deal of art to display in smaller spaces. Amanda feels rewarded by helping others find their Silver Linings through tough transitions. In her free time she enjoys Music, Art, traveling, camping and community.
JoAnn Samuels ~ Team Lead, Joined 2016
JoAnn previously served as a field manager for Hallmark. When she first started with the company she was working both jobs but wanting to leave Hallmark. She is now on our team as the person who keeps us all calm and she’s exceptional helping clients who need a little more hand holding during their move or home organization process. JoAnn and her husband have been happily married for 35 years and have two adult sons. In her spare time she is active in her church and spends time with her family.
Beth Barrett ~ Lead Organizer and Team Lead, Joined 2020
Beth joined the SLT when a friend who knew Beth had a passion for organizing and working with seniors saw our classified ad on Facebook. Beth also had a background in customer service coincidentally working with Dawn as a manager at Nordstrom’s. Beth has a talent for organizing anything and is frequently working with clients who have just moved into their homes and are buried in boxes. Beth also has experience as an office manager. In her spare time, Beth works helping families going through divorce co-parent and volunteers delivering flowers that will be thrown away from grocery stores to hospitals and those who might be cheered up by fresh flowers.
Christine Bowman ~ Estate Sale Manager and Team Lead, Joined 2021
Christine joined the SLT after meeting Jami at an estate sale years ago for a mutual client. Christine brings years of estate sale experience in the San Diego area to SLT so clients can make the most money possible on the belongings they don’t keep. Christine is also very artistic and a strong organizer. In her spare time, Christine is an award winning painter specializing in landscapes which she creates traveling all over California to capture and an avid hiker.
